സ്ഥലം ഗുരുവായൂർ ക്ഷേത്രപരിസരം. വൈകുന്നേരം ഏഴരമണിയോടെ ക്ഷേത്രപരിസരത്തെ പോലീസുദ്യോഗസ്ഥരുടെ ഡ്യൂട്ടി പോയ്ൻറ് പരിശോധിക്കാനായി ഇറങ്ങിയതായിരുന്നു, KAP ഫസ്റ്റ് ബറ്റാലിയനിലെ ഗാർഡ് പാർട്ടി കമാൻററായ സബ് ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ സഞ്ജു. ഡ്യൂട്ടി പോയ്ൻറുകൾ പരിശോധിച്ചതിനുശേഷം കിഴക്കേ നടയിലെത്തിയപ്പോഴാണ് ബഞ്ചിലിരുന്ന ഒരാൾ പെട്ടന്ന് മറിഞ്ഞുവീഴുന്നത് ശ്രദ്ധയിൽപെട്ടത്. കൂടെയുള്ളവർ താങ്ങി എഴുന്നേൽപ്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചുവെങ്കിലും അയാൾ കുഴഞ്ഞുവീഴുകയായിരുന്നു. ഉടൻതന്നെ സംഭവസ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് സഞ്ജു പാഞ്ഞെത്തി. കൂടെ QRT പാർട്ടി കമാൻറായ (R.R.F) സബ് ഇൻസ്പെക്ടർ രവികുമാർ, ടെമ്പിൾ പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിലെ സീനിയർ സിവിൽ പോലീസ് ഓഫീസർ സോജുമോൻ എന്നിവരും. കുഴഞ്ഞുവീണ ആളുടെ കൈപിടിച്ച് സഞ്ജു പൾസ് പരിശോധിച്ചു. ശ്വാസോച്ഛ്വാസം നിലച്ച രീതിയിലായിരുന്നു. സഞ്ജു വേറൊന്നും ചിന്തിച്ചില്ല. അയാളെ നിലത്ത് മലർത്തി കിടത്തി കയ്യിൽ നിന്നും കർച്ചീഫ് എടുത്ത് മുഖത്തിട്ട് കൃത്രിമ ശ്വാസോഛോസം കൊടുത്തു ഒപ്പം CPR - (Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation ) തുടങ്ങി. കൂടെയുള്ള പോലീസുദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ ആംബുലൻസിനെ വിവരം അറിയിച്ചു. ബന്ധുക്കളെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു. CPR തുടരുന്നതിനിടെ ആംബുലൻസ് എത്തി. . ശ്വാസ്വോച്ഛ്വാസം ശരിയാകുന്നതിന് മുൻപ് CPR മതിയാക്കി രോഗിയെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നത് ശരിയല്ലെന്നും ഈ അവസ്ഥയിൽ അത് അപകടമാണെന്നും പറഞ്ഞു മനസ്സിലാക്കി സഞ്ജു CPR തുടർന്നു. കണ്ണുമറഞ്ഞ് ചലനമറ്റുകിടന്നിരുന്ന അയാൾ പെട്ടന്ന് തലയനക്കുകയും ചുമയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഉടൻതന്നെ അയാളെ ആംബുലൻസിൽ കയറ്റി പോലീസുദ്യോഗസ്ഥരും ബന്ധുക്കളും ചേർന്ന് ദേവസ്വം ആശുപത്രയിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോവുകയും ആശുപത്രിയിൽ അടിയന്തിര പ്രാഥമിക ചികിത്സ നൽകി കുന്ദംകുളത്തെ ആശുപത്രിയിലെത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. യഥാസമയം ലഭിച്ച CPR ആണ് അനന്ദകുമാറിന് രക്ഷയായതെന്ന് രോഗിയെ പരിശോധിച്ച ശേഷം ഡോക്ടർമാർ പറഞ്ഞു. ശുശ്രൂഷകൾക്കു ശേഷം അനന്ദകുമാർ സുഖം പ്രാപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ചങ്ങരംകുളം പിടാവന്നൂരിലുള്ള അനന്ദകുമാറാണ് (61) പെട്ടന്നുണ്ടായ അസ്വസ്ഥത മൂലം കിഴക്കേനടയിൽ കുഴഞ്ഞുവീണത്. കുടുംബസമേതം ക്ഷേത്രദർശനം കഴിഞ്ഞ് അല്പസമയം വിശ്രമിക്കാനായി ഇരുന്നതായിരുന്നു. ഹൃദയസംബന്ധമായ അസുഖങ്ങളുള്ള അനന്ദകുമാർ CPR ഡമ്മിയിൽ പ്രാക്ടീസ് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിലും ലൈവായി ആദ്യമായാണ് ചെയ്തത്. അത് വളരെവിജയകരമായി എന്ന് മാത്രമല്ല, ഒരു ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞ സന്തോഷത്തിലാണ് ഈ സബ് ഇൻസ്‌പെക്ടർ. പൊലീസ് ട്രെയിനിംഗ് കോളേജിലെ ട്രെയിനിംഗ് ഇൻസ്ട്രെക്ടറായിരുന്ന സഞ്ജുവിന് കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷത്തെ ട്രെയിനിങ്ങ് എക്സലൻസ് അവാർഡ് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. സി.പി.ആറിൻെറ പ്രാധാന്യത്തെകുറിച്ച് എല്ലാവരും മനസ്സിലാക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. ഒരുവട്ടമെങ്കിലും അത് ചെയ്ത് പരിശീലിക്കുക. നാം കാരണം ഒരു ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ അതില്പരം കൃതാർത്ഥത മറ്റെന്തുണ്ട് ? #keralapolice
