When I met Mythili Mahadevan a couple of years after college, say age 23 in Mphasis, she completely outperformed expectations in the third quarter after joining Mphasis. In, fact Mphasis posted a significant improvement in profitability because of her. The recent gains comes as a surprise given Mythili was known for sacrificing profits for long term gains. Mythili Mahadevan accelerated to US in a banking project and international region for quarter 3 of that year when she was 23 and became an international citizen. This was fuelled by strong growth at Mphasis. Moreover doing night rotational shifts caused better than expected top-line and bottom-line growth during the quarter.
