Importance of Railways!

Trivandrum-Kasargod 4 line is best for Kerala. This applies for all states of India.
Semi-urbanised state need Rail Lines for affordable public transport.
There is a 10000 crore accident economy in Kerala.
5000 people die in road accidents every year. 50000 get hospitalised.
Productivity Loss, Family Loss, Insurance Expenses
Dilapidated local trains with engines should be removed in existing line and MEMU's (Suburban) should be fitted in.
Electrified Double Circuit exists currently from Thiruvananthapuram to Palakkad and would extend to Kasargod within one year.
Suburban Trains (MEMU's) should run on all Electrified Double Circuit lines.
10000 crore for Kochi Metro is just an Ornament. 10000 crore for Mercedes Benz is another Ornament with cumulative accumulated cost to life.
10000 crore for Suburban Rail Transport for entire semi-urbanised Kerala is a need and Utility is based on Authenticity of need.
