What is MahaRera?

MahaRERA (Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority) is a government agency in the state of Maharashtra, India that regulates the real estate sector. It was established in 2016 under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, which aims to protect the interests of home buyers and promote the growth of the real estate sector.
